Best Paper Awards and Poster Award
The ISDRS 2018 Organizing Committee, through the evaluation of the track chairs of the Conference, will award the three best full papers and the best poster with the following prizes sponsored by Springer (in voucher for the purchase of Springer books to the value indicated; i.e. no cash prizes):
- 1st best paper award - a book voucher of the value of EUR 300
- 2nd best paper award - a book voucher of the value of EUR 200
- 3rd best paper award - a book voucher of the value of EUR 100
- Best Poster award - a book voucher of the value of EUR 100
The objective of the Best Papers competition is:
- To encourage the conference participants to submit full papers of high quality
- To disseminate high-quality ISDRS conference papers
An author can be awarded only one time, regardless the number of papers she/he presented and the different positions occupied in the author's list.
Papers will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Relevance to current debates on the conference topics
- Clarity and robustness of the research argument(s)
- Originality of the approach and ideas presented
- Clearness of expression and quality of the paper
- Value added to scientific knowledge
The objective of the Best Poster competition is:
- To encourage the conference participants to submit "smart" posters
An author can't be awarded both for best paper and best poster, regardless the number of papers/postrs she/he presented and the different positions occupied in the author's list.
Posters will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Relevance to current debates on the conference topics
- Clarity and robustness of the research argument(s)
- Originality of the approach and ideas presented
- Adequateness and originality of poster layout in relation to its contents
- Value added to scientific knowledge
