Gabriella Arcese is Assistant Professor in Commodity Science and Teacher for the MS course "Production cycle and Innovation". She is a FIR (FutureInReseach) researcher for the project Industrial symbiosis of a "wide geographical area": the Ionic territory, co-funded by Apulia Region. This research project deals with the application of industrial ecology and its tools within Ionian Territory with the aim of achieving resource efficiency and a circular economy in particular with Industrial Symbiosis and LCT tools. Main research topics were the Life Cycle sustainability Assessment and Social Life Cycle Assessment. She is interested in Corporate Social Responsibility, quality and environment management system, environmental, social and economic sustainability tools. She is part of many research projects related sustainability and technology diffusion and implication. She is member of the Italian Academy of Commodity Science, International International Society of commodity Science and Technology, LCA Italian Network and Setac Europe and member of Social Alliance.
